Since I’ve watched NASCAR or the Darlington race has had a ton of cautions.

12 at this point, what the hell? Lots of drifts and opposite lock, 4-5 cars out of the race. Are the low downforce packages the source of all this?

I’m just hoping Jeff Gordon gets first when it’s all over. It’d be great if he gets the cup, I really want his last full time season to kick ass.

Anyone wanna educate me on the current crop of newer drivers while I’m here? I’m trying to get back into all things racing.

I think that it’s just a Darlington thing

They have the new awesome low down force aero package combined with typical darlington track behaviors which is why everyone’s squirmy and I love it

It makes for an exciting race, that’s for sure. I picked a good night to watch the race. I keep trying to leave to grab a couple things at the store but it’s keeping me here.

Also they are running a softer tire tonight than usual leading to quicker wear. I really hope they bring this low down force package to all the mile and a half tracks next year

This is ridiculously fun to watch. Soft tires and low downforce would certainly make the mile and a half tracks more interesting if memory serves. Seem that NASCAR gets how to make these downforce packages work and liven up the races.
